The TL300 brings a new level of convenience to wood burning. The top loading feature makes it easier to load more wood into the firebox for longer burns and more heat output. A single lever handle opens and closes the top load door and damper in one motion so that smokeless loading can occur. The super sized ash pan makes ash handling easy as well. While most stoves require ash removal every 3 to 5 days, the TL300 will hold more than 2 weeks worth of ashes burning around the clock!The TL300 converts to an open fireplace with the optional cozy screen in place so you can enjoy the ambiance of a crackling fire. For the homeowner who appreciates intricate detail and superb craftsmanship, the Harman Oakwood Cast Iron Wood Stove will be a pleasure to own. Precision castings make the Oakwood’s aesthetic appearance unique and are designed so accurately that gaskets are used (instead of furnace cement) for assembly.

Harman’s special FireDome Non-Catalytic Combustion System is used for clean burning and even heat output. What this equates to is unvarying heat throughout your home over a longer period of time without the peaks and valleys of other wood stoves. The FireDome attains Harman’s reputation of high efficiency while saving you the expense associated with catalytic stoves.

Top loading makes adding wood easier and allows the Oakwood to hold more wood than other stoves of the same size. The Oakwood can hold over 40 pounds of cordwood on a three-inch charcoal bed which makes burn times of 12 to 16 hours a reality.
The extra large glass door stays cleaner because of specially coated glass and the exclusive Harman air wash system.

The Oakwood has an ash pan with its own ash door that is used to remove ashes while the stove is in operation.

Environmentally Smart: Wood burning is not only a renewable fuel source, it also has a positive environmental impact. As trees grow, they absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) using energy from the sun. When a tree dies or is burned, the carbon that is stored in the tree is released back into the air. Thus, heating your home with a Kuma EPA certified wood stove or insert releases no more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than a tree rotting on the forest floor.
