The Southwest Clean Air Agency (SCAA) is funding a Replacement Program, designed to assist homeowners who are replacing old, uncertified wood stoves. Adding a certified woodstove or pellet stove, saves in operating costs, reduces air pollutants and burns more efficiently.
In this program SCAA have funds available to subsidize the cost of a certified wood stove replacement. There are, however, minimal requirements for participating in our program. Your wood stove or furnace must be manufactured prior to 1990 and must currently be installed in your primary residence.
If you live outside the boundaries established for this program you can still add your name to the Wait List. If SCCA has excess funds available, they may contact you to see if you are still interested in participating in the program.
SCAA is targeting a specific air-shed area for the current program. This is a limited time offer – don’t delay. If you are eligible, you may receive a Voucher up to $1500 towards the purchase of your replacement.
